Jill has spent the past decade as a leading personal trainer and advocate for fitness across Greater Denver and the Front Range. She has developed a rapport with workout enthusiasts across the city through personal training, boot camps and classes she teaches at the University of Denver’s Coors Fitness Center. With the support of these people, Jill has embarked on releasing her first in a series of workout videos: “Done In One” with My Trainer Jill, due for release, Winter 2010-2011.
Jill is an Advisor with AdvoCare, a premier health and wellness company offering world-class energy, weight-loss, nutrition, and sports performance products. This association allows Jill to provide the complete package of total wellness and educate consumers about fitness and health products.
Jill earned a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from San Diego State and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (National Strength and Conditioning Association). Jill’s extensive fitness knowledge not only stems from education but from experience. She was a competitive athlete and scholarship athlete in college competing in the throwing disciplines in Track and Field. She was the captain of her Univeristy of Idaho team and her drive and determination lead her to become a Conference Champion and part of the 1996 US Olympic Trials.
Following the end of competitive throwing, Jill became the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at San Diego State University while simultaneously earning her Masters.
Today Jill resides with her family in Denver, Colorado and when she is not helping and educating people about fitness she is raising her son Izak and spending time with her husband Ali. Friends, family, hiking, biking, dancing, skiing, tennis, traveling and outdoor activities fill the rest of Jill’s spare time.
